Minor Attractions is a week-long exhibition in London’s Soho neighbourhood inviting global commercial galleries and not-for-profit art spaces to both exhibit and collaborate towards a social event spanning the length of “Frieze Week” in October. Designed as a space where art and nightlife meet, Minor Attractions will allow the swells of international collectors in the city to mingle with the art workers and artists that make the art world tick. Galleries are encouraged to bring exciting and daring work, creating a new context for London’s buzzing art scene.
Cornershop will be a sister event to Minor Attractions, operating in London Bridge. Highlighting many of the exciting young and small galleries across the city, Cornershop distills the energy of London’s emerging art community into a space for painting and sculpture, but also other media such as performance and installation. Open during the day from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Cornershop is designed to be a true hub for activity outside of Frieze, by London, for London.
